A New Pair of Goal Pants

There is no secret around here that I have a shopping addiction. Last year I gave my whole entire closet away, save just a few items, and I have been building it back ever since. I have a affair with the store downtown every week or so. I don’t even hide it anymore because

1. I’m not good at hiding things or lying.
2. I like to share what I bought.

I’ve been talking about a particular pair of blue silk pants for over a month. I even noticed that I had a similar pair pinned on My Style Ideas Pinterest board. As I was dropping off an invitation to my next party to the owners they mentioned that they were 70% off that day. I had tried them on before. They zip, but it was not a pretty site and I never walked out of the dressing room. Now they are home with me, where they belong. They are my goal pants.

My friend, Amanda and I are starting what will become 14 weeks of working our butts off. I’m weighing in a tad heavier than I planned, but I fell victim to summer travel. My good news is I’ve switched scales to my Omron full body sensor. I’m happy to report my visceral body fat is an 8 which is on the low end. Happy Dance for me!  We have taken our before photos, scale pictures and measurements. I’m not posting them here yet because I’m rushing to be with my family right now.

I’ve got a lot going on. I just had a dinner party last night, 2 sleepovers this weekend and I’m having another party tomorrow complete with food and desserts. I’m also packing to go hang out for a day with Andrea and Hanan up in the great North West! Guess I need to be pulling out our jackets so we can escape this 100 degree weather on the Prairie.
