Bring on the Insanity

pictures of travels to WAFor the past 8 days I have been traveling across the west in a Yukon XL with my husband and four kids.

Insanity?

Yes!

We have spent slightly over 65 hours driving since last Saturday and even more hours than that cooped up together in hotel rooms.

Insanity?

Yes!

24 meals in restaurants with a one year old, three year old and two almost tweens is, well,
Insanity!

Listening to 65 hours of children’s movies including Yo Gabba Gabba, Dora, and Mario and Sonic episodes is beyond, well,

Insanity!

I know you are wondering if everyone made it back in one piece or if I left anyone behind?

We are all alive and in one piece.

Insanity! I know!!

I’ve been home a little over an hour and I’ve stepped on the scale.

Insanity?

Yes!

I was expecting to gain a specific amount and I did gain that much granted that was after I ate all day and had finished a sit down at home dinner. I realized that we are completely insane to jump in a car and drive through Nebraska, Wyoming twice, Montana from the south to the North and again west to the east, half way through Washington, and South Dakota west to the east and down to the border of Nebraska. We stopped by to say hi to our family and then headed up to eat lunch with Hanan, Andrea and Shelloy. I had several other framily and friends I could have visited a long the way, but this trip was total burn out.

What is my plan?

Insanity!

On Monday morning I will dive into Insanity as part of a Beach Body Challenge Group. If you have done the 2 week challenges then you don’t have to shy away from Insanity. I will be starting a modified Paleo eating challenge with a Facebook friend, Jenny, with the modification of Shakeology. I will be walking/running 4miles or biking 10 miles or doing the elliptical 45 minutes a day. I will be journaling not only my food but my feelings. I will be floating away with my water intake.

I have an insane amount of catching up to do!

If you are interested in joining my next Challenge Group just post below, tweet me @mnmspecial, or send me an email. I will give you details on how to get registered. You don’t have to be doing Insanity. There are plenty of other programs like P90X, Tai Cheng, ChaLean Extreme, Les Mills Pump, Brazil Butt Lift, or TurboFire to name just a few. If you are ready to go right now then head over to my independent coach page MNMSpecial and click join, then let me know you did, so I can add you to my group if you would like more accountability (there is no charge to click join).

  6. First, yes that is all very insane. I have a hard time just 4 hours in the car when they are awake. We don’t have any movies. Just the shrill of screams and annoyances! I can’t even begin to imagine. But take a deep breath you are home now. It’s all over….you are ok….just breath. I love you girl! Keep kicking lunges and taking names.

  7. Sounds…insane!! Just like you said! Good luck with your challenge – you’re going to do great!
