Staying at Westlake Village Four Seasons & California Health & Longevity Institute

I never understood the concept of people going out of their way to be married at The Four Seasons until I stayed at the Westlake Village Four Seasons and toured the  grounds and the California Health and Longevity Institute. All are housed in the same facility bring peace and relaxation under one roof.

Every where you turn is beautiful and peaceful. The staff is extremely polite and goes out of their way to show you to your destination within the hotel. They open doors for you and they ask how your day is, and if they can help you. My hat is off to the staff for making sure there is fresh cold water available at every turn on the premises. The water station closest to the elevator was filled with limes, oranges and strawberries the first day we arrived. It was delicious! In other conference rooms there was lemon water and cucumber water and even cool water out in the gardens with lovely glasses to drink from.

fruit, bath and lighting at Four SeasonsMy roommate and I lucked out and had a suite on the top floor in the front corner of the hotel overlooking the entrance and Dole Global Headquarters. We had a huge bathroom with marble, huge soaking tub and glass enclosed walk in shower. The shower gel was amazing! My favorite part about our room was the attention to details. The room was completely dark at night because the curtains were hung so they could overlap! How ingenious is that?! For a girl that was up before 6 am and going to bed after midnight that was so important to me. I also loved the chandelier lighting above the beds and the dimmer switch. Not that we needed to set a mood, but it made early mornings and late nights oh so much more bearable. I could go on and tell you how I wished I had purchased a pillow because it was some of the best sleep I got or the turn down service we received, slippers, fruit…I could go on and on. It was amazing. I will grin and bear the traffic just to stay again.

We were able to take a tour of the California Health and Longevity Institute during our stay. It was just a quick elevator ride down to the most beautiful spa and gym. This might sound like a familiar place to you because it is part of the Extreme Makeover Weight Loss Edition. They offer wellness care and procedures on site, nutrition is just steps away in the beautiful kitchen and gardens, and fitness programs at your fingertips.

I didn’t get a chance to enjoy the spa facilities while we were there, but I would have loved to spent a whole day down there. It is definably a place to enjoy a say of serenity.
