One of the best things about Pigeon Forge, Tennessee is the endless amount of things to do with your family while on vacation. Billed as the rowdiest show in the Smoky Mountains the Lumberjack Feud is hands down the most exciting event I attended. Housed in a brand new 10 million dollar facility, professional ESPN timber athletes put on the an amazing 90 minute show filled with axe swinging, chainsaws, tree climbing, comedy, log rolling, and dogs. There is even a huge gift shop filled with fun items for every member of your family. Put on your Flannel and don’t forget to bring some extra cash to get your group picture.
Ranger Black sings and officiates the 10 logging competitions between the Dawson or McGraw families while putting up with the silliness of Camper Bob. The stadium is divided up into the Dawson side and the McGraw side. The crowd is encouraged to cheer enthusiastically for your family’s side while heckling and booing the other side. The involvement really pulls you
into the show, but be careful because you may be picked to come down and participate in some events. Don’t worry, nothing sharp. So many kids were asked to help out and they received slices of logs called cookies that the teams signed after the show. Don’t worry if you don’t get one, they have them for sale too.
The Lumberjack Feud offers two options to attend their action packed show. Dinner and a show or just the show. Either way you’ll have a great time, but I would opt for the dinner. We had tender BBQ ribs, amazingly seasoned Mesquite baked chicken breast, creamy baked Macaroni ‘N Cheese and baked beans. We started dinner with a soft buttery dinner roll and a pint jar of our favorite ice cold non alcoholic beverage. We topped things off with a yummy strawberry shortcake for dessert. The service is top notch from the staff there.
Ladies don’t worry about this show being a men only type of deal. It is the type of show that your kids will enjoy and you will enjoy too. A little singing, a little dancing, a little…well pictures are worth a thousand words right? I think this Lumberjack Feud commercial will seal the deal of why you need to be booking your tickets now and you can also subscribe to their YouTube Channel.
