One item that we always have under our Christmas Tree Christmas morning is candy. Santa is very generous to our kids and my sweet tooth, but we are starting to move away from the traditional stuff to opt for healthier options. I was very happy to have the opportunity to review SNAP Infusion SUPERCANDY®. It is a functional snack for active lifestyles.
SNAP is packed with B vitamins to boost your energy, antioxidants to keep your immune system strong, and electrolytes so you don’t get dehydrated and end up a dried-out shell of your former self.
This summer SNAP partnered with the U.S. Ski Team, U.S. Snowboarding and U.S. Freeskiing. They are supporting men and women that are into fitness and athletics. Now, I’m not a skier or a snowboarder, but I do log 28 miles a week on my treadmill and about 40 minutes a day doing my Beachbody workouts so I feel I’m pretty active. I also have a crazy sweet tooth that rarely feels satisfied. The SUPERCANDY® is a low calorie option with natural ingredients and a powerful punch of B vitamins to give a boost to energy levels. If you’re just starting to get into fitness and pushing yourself you may find yourself feeling a little under the weather, but SNAP Infusion SUPERCANDY® also contain antioxidants that may help keep that at bay. These candies contain no artificial sugar, trans fat or high- fructose corn syrup.
We received SNAP Gum, SNAP Tart, my favorite SNAP Mel, SNAP Gummy, and SNAP Bean.
SNAP Gum – These little bite sized gum pieces pack some major citrus punch. My kids weren’t fans which meant more for me. I liked that it didn’t lose the flavor quickly. I did wish it came in a berry flavor.
SNAP Tart – These are fruit tarts that remind me or a cross between sweetarts and smarties. I really have never been a fan of either of those, so falling in love with this one was really hard for me.
SNAP Mel – These are my favorite. Remember Sugar Babies? These are way better than those. They are jelly bean sized soft classic caramel flavored bites of goodness! The whole package is under 100 calories, but I found that even my wicked sweet tooth couldn’t eat more than a few pieces at a time. I felt so devilish having these in the house, but I find they are the perfect thing to keep me heading in the right direction for my fitness goals.
SNAP Gummy – These are berry flavored jelly bean sized gummies that remind me of Brachs Fruit jellies that are rolled in sugar. They are soft and squishy and are my second favorite treat. They are way better than gummy bears and easier on the jaws. It took me a few before I began to fall in love, but once I did they went quickly.
SNAP Bean – These are yummy berry flavored jelly beans. This is where I noticed that the colors aren’t bright and artificial like traditional jelly beans. They taste just like jelly beans and have a great texture.
I didn’t really notice if I had more energy eating the candies verses not eating them, but I didn’t feel like I had a sugar slump. I would purchase these again because I liked them a lot. They can be purchased at Wegman’s and Whole Foods stores and online at EatPlaySnap.com for $1.99 per package. They have a store finder on their site so you can find them quickly. These make excellent stocking stuffers for those active people in your life.
