Hang with me as I share my NuttZo – Omega 3 seven nut and seed butter review and my go to morning breakfast revamped.
Growing up my dad made sure peanut butter and honey sandwiches were available any time of the day. He would come home from work and have a pre-dinner slice of white bread smothered in creamy peanut butter and dripping in local honey. He would also have another slice or two after dinner and before bed. In fact eating commercial peanut butter is just expected.
Now that I have a family of my own I can’t get any of them to even look at a jar of peanut butter. Most of the jars that have been purchased in our house have gone towards chocolate chip peanut butter cookies. Since I am on a mission to shed this extra 50lbs I have been carrying around since my first baby was born I have been trying to avoid high amounts of sugar. That mean’s those cookies are out.
What I make instead is my tribute to Elvis Presley. The Nuttzo & banana breakfast sandwich. I just realized that I forgot the melted dark chocolate chips!
The next thing I made was banana bread. What can I say, I guess I just think bananas and NuttZo go hand in hand. It is probably because it isn’t a sweet nut butter like I have been used to. I think the flax and sunflower are the main flavors that I taste first off before I notice the other nut flavors. I just love the way it tastes with bananas.
